What is ATY?
ATY also called Air-textured Yarn or Air-jet Texturizing Yarn,is created by adding bulkiness and entanglement to the filament yarn,which possess the outlook of spun yarn.
How is ATY made?
Continuous fibers (POY/FDY) such as nylon and polyester are fed into an air texturizing nozzle with a feed roller set at arbitrary speed, interlaces that yarn with air or blends them using turbulence generated by compressed air inside the nozzle,and the produces yarn known as ATY.
